The first challenge was finding a style that fits IBM brand and also the project’s theme: Cognitive enterprise. It was all about making business more human, about technology and process… and with each number, we represent a step on becoming a Cognitive enterprising for IBM.
Once the style was agreed, then I designed a series of storyboards with an idea of how the numbers could be brought to life and animated, with the priceless help of the animator Natalie Hobbons. We then started producing the final vector illustrations, ready to be animated. We also separated some illustration elements to be used in internal and social media ads and presentations.
